2017 Aston Martin Vantage Engine
The AM28 V12 engine delivers exceptional performance. Integrated with our ‘Gen4’ VH architecture this combination drives peak power to 563bhp and a phenomenal top speed of 205mph. System controls AM28 alongside the debut of Dual Variable Camshaft Timing and knock-sensing – all improving efficiency and engine capability. Sportshift III produces new levels of precision and you would expect from our most aggressive sporting experience. With a twin-plate clutch and slave cylinder taken from the One-77 hypercar, V12 Vantage S has a transmission developed for peak performance. To manage the enhanced power from AM28 we re-engineered airflow management to improve cooling and engine performance. The carbon fibre front grille, mesh aperture and air ducts were designed to feed as much air into the radiator.

The new, sophisticated waterfall fascia cuts a bold architectural form but feels entirely natural to interact with and blends harmoniously with the supple instruments. With almost endless colours and materials from which to choose, each V12 Vantage S is unique and an experience to savour. Expect the 2017 Aston Martin Vantage grand tourer layout with the clean dashboard and tall center console, but also look for significant upgrades over the previous model. Highlights should include a race-inspired, all-digital instrument cluster, a flat-bottom steering with with thinner spokes, and a 12-inch TFT display with rotary control and touchpad with character recognition atop the center stack.
